Not only digging out Mansfield here, as many others (Orient included) charge similar. It's third division football FFS - something has to change or more people will drift away to their local non-league side.
From the brink of collapse to chasing the Championship.
In 2017, @leytonorientfc were days from going out of business. Owner chaos & relegation out of the Football League.
Today:
✅ Record season tickets
✅ New ownership
✅ Plans for a new stadium
But survival is no longer enough. After narrowly missing out last year, the mission is clear: reach the Championship and thrive.
CEO @markdevlin7 takes us through:
💸 Why chasing promotion must be balanced with financial sustainability
🏟️ The reality of building a stadium in London
📈 Lessons from Brentford’s rise and how they’re applied at Orient
📊 The true cost of competing in the EFL and why losses are rising
🤝 How community, culture and commercial growth work together
Leyton Orient’s journey is a reminder that in modern football, infrastructure and identity are as important as points on the board.

Just leaving Stockport…11 years since we made the L1 play off final. So much has happened since then…but nights like this are why we fought so hard to save our club. From Waterlooville to Wembley, Leyton Orient FC. Our club. What a night. https://t.co/3VoTw8GKOT. #lofc
Leyton Orient is delighted to welcome David Gandler to the club as its new majority shareholder.
The deal has received clearance from the relevant governing bodies and sees new parent company GSG LOFC Limited take over 100% of Eagle Investments 2017 Limited.
