@CTVNews Absolutely ridiculous that CTV “reports” an article written by AP with blaring headline. This is a report by the authors. No peer review, no scientific journal. Whether it is correct or not, we don’t know. This isn’t how science should be done.
@anonfmresident@AB_FactCheck Because parliament is generally controlled by ON, the Gov't appoint the senators. However to (hopefully) illustrate my point
• ON: 24 Senate seats: 1.66 senators/M residents.
• Western Canada (BC, AB, SK,BC,MB): Has 24 Senate seats; 2.0 senators /M residents
@LatinWavesMedia@Quea_Ali@Prominent_Bryan Why does one of the wealthiest areas of the province get a $10 daycare approved while others go without. I want to see the email traffic about how that one got approved in the first place
@banreportcards@WeAreCanProud Being as she was deputy PM and at virtually every cabinet meeting, the documentation of other former cabinet ministers (Garneau, Raybould, Philpott), I don’t think recordings and diaries are required.
@anonfmresident@AB_FactCheck Not even close to population, province or region. It has to do with whining at Confederation and that set the basis. Nova Scotia and New Brunswick got 10 senators each. After that, every province thereafter got 6 each and now carved in constitutional stone .
