Thank you all for making this week so amazing! We are extremely grateful for your return... something most of us thought would likely never happen again. Anika is incredible! It's so great to see your smiling faces back out there rockin' it again! And thank you for an incredible body of work. Can't wait to see you in Seattle for both shows!
Yeah I've seen a few clips, but I have kind of cut them short, because I really don't want to see too much before the show. It's hard not to want to watch all the vids circulating on YouTube, but I'm determined to keep my exposure limited. I like knowing the setlists, but I prefer not to see too much of the live visuals prior to the shows I'm going to.
Wow, the audio quality on this is really good. You can actually hear what's going on...
This is going to be absolutely f**king incredible! The Seattle shows can't come soon enough for me...
@ThePandaHorse Yeah that doesn't surprise me. I'd heard their sound system is state of the art (which I would totally expect with a band like Rush). But it seems they're really pulling out all the stops on this tour!
No I don't mind them either. They're human, and they're in their early 70s! I'm just grateful that we have this opportunity to see them again. And, all things considered, they sound great! Most other "legacy" bands their age have not sounded anywhere near this good! Rush is just operating on a whole different level altogether. There's no other band like them.
@Hot_Pepper76 I'd have to choose 2, because I need one from each era (one from the classic lineup, and one from the Rabin years). So I'd choose Close to the Edge and Talk.

La Villa Strangiato
Their iconic instrumental, rivaled only by YYZ, is played out in sonic beauty and perfection.
Yeah I'm definitely curious about that now myself, Hunter. This is nuts! They've never changed up the sets like this before! For past tours, and it was always just maybe 1-3 minor substitutions, but otherwise, they stuck to the same set every night of the tour. I'm actually going to be talking about this subject in my next video on the music channel. I've just been waiting for the L.A. residency to end to see what they play tonight. But I'll be covering the setlists for nights 2-4 in my next video... and speculating about what may or may not happen for the cities that have 2-show stints. Because all the week-long residencies are happening early on, and then it's 2-night stints from there on out. I'm getting the impression that they've given themselves a ton of flexibility to make changes to the sets easily. Now I'm beginning to think the shows might not just be limited to the 5 sets that Geddy initially said he'd prepared. It could be they structure the sets differently for the 2-night stints than they do for week-long stints.
