In Florida, physician assistants are lobbing against actual physicians practicing medicine, claiming that they are stealing opportunities.
You can’t make it up.
Can anyone clarify that we will still need USLME to practise in Florida after completing training in the UK?
If yes, cool still no need of residency and for many just doing the exams would be worth it.
If no, then OMG, UK doctors will be in EXTRA high demand!

Full pay restoration would see an F1 at £20.63ph today
… which would still be the lowest on the list
Not at all suggesting other professions should be paid less (nurses, domestics unequivocally need fair pay too)
But when govt says FPR is unfair or unreasonable… 🤔
Just a wee reminder to medical students & junior doctors about how badly paid you are in the UK.
First & second year doctors would not meet Jenrick’s minimum salary to be allowed into the country.
Keep striking for pay restoration!
