We held costs very low for an extended period, partly to assist the Canterbury rebuild post-earthquake, which is now largely complete. The new rate reflects the averaged cost of doing work on our network and is more cost reflective.

@sophie__mcinnes @HebeSharon Orion owns majority of the power boxes/assets in Canterbury - our assets get vandalized/hit on a daily basis. Our contracted Orion painters only carry one color of paint on them (green). If an asset has had the above incidents occur, we would not be able to restore the art.

Unfortunately we are unable to have art displayed on our Orion assets. This is due to H&S regulations, maintenance costs as well as other possible implications (if asset gets damaged/vandalized- mural can't be reinstated/who is responsible etc).

@grobinson72 Hi Genevieve. We had a cable fault that affected power supply to 350 customers on the Friday night. We managed to have everyone back on within 3 hours. We do apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused.
