This is why I find the mistrial disturbing. Children should never become collateral damage in conversations about motherhood, mental illness, or legal responsibility.

People who resent motherhood or struggle with severe mental illness can still pose a danger to their children. That danger should be taken seriously, not trivialised or turned into a joke.

Children should be safe in their own homes with those entrusted with their care. The idea that a child could be brutally harmed by their own mother is horrifying, regardless of the circumstances.

Whatever your position on Lindsay Clancy’s case, child safety and accountability should be at the centre of this conversation, not “jokes” about murdering children or misogynistic arguments about whether women are fit to lead.

Someone paid for a dress, and after the vendor confirmed payment, she suddenly said the dress was no longer available.

The customer asked for a refund.

The vendor refused.

Plot twist: the customer is a lawyer.

She sent a petition to the Police and the FCCPC, then sent the vendor the petition with her Instagram profile that clearly showed she was a lawyer.

The vendor immediately refunded the money and apologized claiming it was her staff.

The customer replied that an apology alone wouldn’t end the matter and that she should pay 500k for damages.

The vendor thought she was bluffing.

The vendor sha ended up sending her the 500K
