The more I look back at my times in school my teachers saw tech as a distraction but taking this class helped me realize it is the next stepping stone to making our kids education go further. Everything will be tech so why not education as well. #csubedte4200#csubted
So far I have been enjoying my EDTE 4200 class and I have learned so much tech wise and becoming a better teacher. I've learned how to integrate tech into a classroom the right way. Also I've learned how to use it to educate and make it fun the same time. #csubedte4200#csubted
@teachsci8@doctor2pi Technology doesn’t get to show the pro side to it when it’s overshadowed by all the negatives to it. If we let our students be given the opportunity to publish their own works in powerpoint and flipgrid it can show the the creativity it gives our students @doctor2pi#CSUBTED
@DomoniqueCruz17@teachsci8 I agree. When I was introduced to power points and videos I felt like I’m showing the class who I am through these assignments and they got to know me a bit more for the work I published @doctor2pi#CSUBTED
@Rebekah_Barnes6 @teachsci8 Yea I agree as well. I’ve had teachers who did not want to incorporate tech into their lessons because off it’s bad rep., but once they found how useful and educational it can be in a proper way it changed their minds. @doctor2pi#CSUBTED
@FlomKatelyn@Ststansberry@Duncannedd I agree too. There’s times where I’m group projects you all can’t meet up because of work or classes at bad times but technology helps out by being able to share documents between each other and doing their parts when everyone has time to hop on and do it. @doctor2pi#csubted
@Ststansberry@doctor2pi Technology can help collaborate in many ways like in high school we had Remind 101 which the teacher would send a text remind to the whole class about upcoming important events coming up. No matter where we are we can get these alerts along with parents to stay on top of things
@tom_karnes@doctor2pi My favorite memory in high school was having a video production class. We got to use film equipment and edit videos that we got to show to the whole class. We got to learn how to use iMovie and Final Cut Pro which was an easy way to edit our videos
@JocelenePinales@tom_karnes@Duncannedd Mine is similar but with video production where we learned how to film and edit videos. It also showed me my passion for making videos and wanting to be a movie director one day @doctor2pi#CSUBTED
@DomoniqueCruz17@tom_karnes@Tech_Buddha I wanted to take cooking at high school but as soon as I arrived they took it out and once I graduated I heard they put it back in lol. I can picture having the teacher use YouTube on the projector while students follow like a cooking Bob Ross lol @doctor2pi#CSUBTED
@doctor2pi @EddiesClass @Tech_Buddha@tom_karnes@Ststansberry@teachsci8@Duncannedd A1: my favorite technology resource has to be the google docs and sites. I just love how brilliant and easy the spread sheet is when once you’re done with an assignment you get points and you have to get so many points every month to get credit. I will defiantly use this.
