After much thought, I am excited to announce my commitment to continue my academic and baseball career at the University of Southern California.

I want to thank the coaching staff at USC for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to become a Trojan.

Additionally, I want to express my gratitude to everyone at the University of the Pacific. Thank you to Coach Urbistondo, Coach Cade, Coach Whelan, and especially Coach Reed Peters, along with my teammates, Dom Alejandre, athletic trainers, Coach Babcock, and the entire athletic department. Thank you all for helping me grow as both a player and a person.

I also want to honor the memory of Skip and extend my gratitude to his family. His leadership, belief in his players, and the impact he had on not only myself but countless others will never be forgotten. His influence on the baseball programs at Delta College and the University of the Pacific will continue to be felt for years to come. I am incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to play for him at both Delta and Pacific, and I will carry the lessons he taught me throughout my career.

I also want to thank President Christopher Callahan for his unwavering support and leadership during a historic and incredibly difficult year for our program.

Finally, thank you to my family, friends, teammates, coaches, and everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. I wouldn’t be where I am today without you.

I look forward to this next chapter.

One of the things that @NorCalBaseball and I are proud of is all the alumni that move on colleges players but also as coaches. Damon Lessler just took the johnson job in the Knoxville area and we’ve got another guy moving on from a big-time program to another big-time program as a promotion with his coaching duties. Very proud of him and it will come out Monday.

The @UOPacific community is heartbroken over the passing of @PacificBaseball head coach Reed Peters. An iconic figure in the California baseball community, Coach Peters joined the @PacificTigers just two years ago and led the program to one of its best seasons in history. I was with Skip two weeks ago in Scottsdale as he piloted the Tigers to our first ever @WCCsports tournament appearance. Hard to believe he’s gone, but we are so grateful for his life-changing coaching, mentoring and teaching of hundreds of student-athletes both at Pacific and @SJDCBaseball. #wccsports #ncaabaseball #RIP
