🚨TRENDING🗣️: Nigerian actor IK Ogbonna has denied viral reports alleging that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), in collaboration with the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), invited him for questioning over an alleged $75,000 romance scam.
The viral claims alleged that a 49-year-old woman identified as Kimberly Ann from Michigan, USA, filed a formal complaint, claiming she had been in an online relationship with someone she believed to be the actor and had sent over $75,000 before realizing she had allegedly been deceived.
Responding to the reports, IK Ogbonna described the allegations as "false, malicious, and without any factual basis." He stated that criminals have repeatedly used fake social media accounts bearing his name and image to scam unsuspecting victims and urged the public to interact only with his verified accounts.
