The swamp lost. THE PEOPLE WON!

It has been the honor of my life to be the voice for freedom and the fighter for liberty on behalf of the patriotic men and women of House District 10, and I am honored by the confidence they reaffirmed in me last night with the overwhelming and outright victory we achieved against the liberal Austin swamp.

Because of my unprecedented efforts to expose corruption and force historic conservative policy victories, liberals and the Austin swamp ran multiple candidates and spent well over half a million dollars to defeat the most effective and conservative member of the Texas Legislature - and got crushed.

The people of House District 10 will NOT be bought!

When the final votes were counted, we won a staggering 58 out of 60 precincts in HD-10!

This was a victory for the grassroots in Ellis County, and words cannot express how grateful Tara and I are for your support.

Our freedom and liberties do not come from government, but from God. And the number one role of government is to protect our God-given liberties. I have never forgotten that as government expands, liberty shrinks.

As the people of HD-10 once again place their trust in my leadership, I will renew the most important commitment I made to them when I first ran: I will always fight for LESS GOVERNMENT, AND MORE FREEDOM!

I will also continue to maintain the hardest working, most responsive, most transparent, and most communicative State Representative office in the state of Texas to serve all of my constituents.

Now, all Republicans must turn our attention to an even bigger threat: the Democrat goal of flipping Texas. Texas is not often thought of as a battleground state. But make no mistake about it: Texas is the crown jewel in the leftists’ plan to destroy America. Democrats turned out in record numbers across Texas, and we must not rest after tonight’s victory. By working together, let’s redouble our efforts to defeat the Democrats in November and protect our beloved Lone Star State.

In closing, THANK YOU to the thousands of patriots in Ellis County and all across Texas who supported our campaign with prayers, encouragement, donations, votes, and countless hours volunteering to ensure this decisive victory.

I am more determined than ever to make government as irrelevant to our lives as possible, so we can be as free as God meant for us to be!
