@TreadAthletics Matter of WHEN it will happen and not IF it will happen. It’s important that the pitcher is prepared for that moment. They’ll have to be ready to decide to stick to what they do best or deal w/ the likelihood of being labeled “uncoachable”.

Well well well… I guess real baseball matters again… and it wins. Don’t strike out. Get the ball in play. Hustle, steal bases, throw strikes, compete. Yea, bombs are good… but so are doubles, singles, bunt for hits, moving runners … pressure on defense. Why has it taken this long to figure it out! That’s what pisses me off. Winning Baseball ….. well it wins! At every level.

@gjmoore96 It’s yet to be seen if the players going back are ruining their chances at getting drafted/signed again. If they play well enough, I doubt they’ll have any trouble getting another opportunity.

@LA_Swiftness You ever have any conversations w/ position players about how they feel/felt when they were asked to pitch & what it means? I remember being asked to play OF in AAA & didn't realize until years later there was zero chance on ever sniffing a call up 😂

@open_command @MLB Without talking to the pitcher(s), there’s no way to know where the actual intended targets are for each pitch.

@RaiseTheTrident Bullpen had covered almost as many innings as the SPs since Monday. Had 2 outs w/ bases empty at 79p in the 6th. Don’t think it’s too much of an ask to have him try to get through that inning and pick up the pen.
