Northbound lanes of Florida's Turnpike are closed at MM242 (near U.S. 192) due to a traffic accident. NB on-ramp at U.S. 192 is also closed to traffic at this time. Drivers should seek alternate routes and exercise caution when driving.
EFFECTIVE MARCH 9, 2026: Following favorable changes to our Keetch-Byram Drought Index (KBDI) County-wide average, the burn ban placed into effect February 16 has been lifted. Residents should continue to exercise safe practices when burning or cooking outdoors.
