Recently, @andyroyle_pwrc, @dwlinden, @gatesdupont & @chrissuthy gave an "Intro to SCR with oSCR" workshop. As promised, here is a YouTube channel with recordings of all the sessions and links to the slides: #SCR

After a hiatus, the collaboratively taught workshop Camera Trapping Study Design and Data Analysis is back! Taught by an amazing group: Jim Hines, Jim Nichols, @andyroyle_pwrc, @dwlinden & Joe Kolowski (+me). Link here, feel free to ask Q's below.

Disease ecology friends! Excellent PhD position open with my MSc advisor et al.:
Studying spatio-temporal dynamics of multiple pathogens in multiple host spp (+ coinfection)
Access to a *fantastic* metapopulation dataset for detailed empirical work!!

As an empirical example, we use the nybears data in @oSCR_package.
Compared to the non-integrated model, our model captures increased spatial structure in (density-weighted) connectivity. [5/n]
Dear nimble users: As a step towards seeking funding for nimble development work, we've put together a very short survey. If you use nimble, can we grab a few minutes of your time to fill it out by the end of Friday Oct 15? https://t.co/lXCjsF3gAb
@jessica_mohlman There are a few lectures on the website and YouTube channel which would be a good place to start, but also feel free to send a message to the user group - very friendly and helpful community the 😊
@ClaytonTLamb@am_anatiala@taaltree@BenCAugustine The assumption here is that the sigma estimated from telemetry is the same as that estimated from SCR - not sure that's a great assumption. If there were *no* spatial recapture perhaps it might not matter, for density estimation.
