@EMBRC_EU@EmbrcFrance@NicolasPade@IouliaSanti IMBBC-HCMR participates to EMO BON by sampling the water column, soft and hard substrates. Our long-term genomic biodiversity time-series takes new form and evolves into an EMO BON observatory.
We are looking forward to our first EMO BON sampling next week! Stay tuned!

As if Monday couldn't get more exciting, we have some thrilling news!
EMBRC is launching the European Marine Omics Biodiversity Observation Network (EMO BON) today!
#EMOBON is the 1st coordinated, long-term genomic biodiversity observatory in Europe

I am really excited to finally see our omics-based observatory take off in EMBRC! EMBRC will be building a time series of molecular biodiversity data from 15 of our sites covering water column, soft sediments, and hard substrates. First data should be available by the end of 2021
Thanks @ASSEMBLE_Plus for spreading the word! What's #OceanSamplingDay2020? On June 21st, marine stations/researchers around the globe will sample coastal area surface waters to assess composition/function of prokaryotic & eukaryotic microbial communities.
#OceanSamplingDay2020 poster is up & flying free in the Basque Country! Thanks Plentzia Marine Station, an EMBRC member, for spreading the word.
Countdown continues: 5 more days until it's time to sample coastal waters around the globe. https://t.co/EcFp2M4gER
IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN!
#OceanSamplingDay2020 is a day of the year when #marine scientists world-wide contribute to a unique #ocean#observation dataset. @pie_upvehu are flying their flag! To join them, find our more at: https://t.co/Q0o9neUfR4
#OceanSamplingDay2020 was yesterday. Didn't sample? No problem, you can still do it today! Join #marine biologists worldwide to provide coastal area samples & help assess the composition & function of prokaryotic & eukaryotic microbial communities. https://t.co/KI3BY7pYqD
#OceanSamplingDay2020 countdown begins! 9 days until the big event. Here's a glimpse of what's to come, with a few pics from last year's campaign. Learn more:
