I've been teaching my kids how to handwash their laundry and not use washing machine all the time.

And since I've been teaching them for the past few months, I always had to rewash for them until it is sparkling to my own standard.

Tonight, they hand washed their socks and uniform before bed and I didn't have to re wash again. It was sparkling.
