The narcissism epidemic is psychological disease that lies at the heart of today’s dangers.
Addressing it is essential if we want to foster discussions about #antimilitarism, #pacifism, and non-violence.

Sam Altman: AGI in 5 years
Interviewer: "What do you think AGI will mean for us, and for consumer brand marketers trying to create ad campaigns and the like to build their companies?"
Sam: “It will mean that 95% of what marketers use agencies, strategists, and creative professionals for today will easily, nearly instantly and at almost no cost be handled by the AI — and the AI will likely be able to test the creative against real or synthetic customer focus groups for predicting results and optimizing. Again, all free, instant, and nearly perfect. Images, videos, campaign ideas? No problem."
Interviewer: "About when do you think AGI will be a reality?"
Sam: "5 years, give or take, maybe slightly longer — but no one knows exactly when or what it will mean for society."
Note: these quotes are not dated, and are from an unreleased book. It’s possible they’re fake, but I doubt it - the two authors seem to be credible executives, and both quotes are consistent with things he’s said in the past.
Previously, he said he expects ASI (Artificial Superintelligence) by 2030 or 2031, but OpenAI believes it could arrive in as little as <3.5 years.
"We're just on this beautiful exponential curve."
