President Donald J. Trump has accused those leaking information about U.S. weapons stockpiles of making "treasonous statements," warning that "long-term jail sentences will be sought!"

The comments appear to be a response to recent reporting by multiple media outlets regarding potential shortages of certain U.S. precision-guided munitions following their use in Operations Epic Fury and Rough Rider in addition to the defense of Israel during the 12-Day War.

In the same Truth Social post, President Trump rejected the reports, stating that the United States has "massive amounts of munitions, especially of certain types," and added that "large amounts are being manufactured and shipped to the U.S. as needed."
