@Jamesmk2010 This will have to be investigated. No one should jump to conclusions However, do not let this scare you or your kids into giving up hockey. I have officiated 8000 games and never seen any skate blade injuries. There are severe suspensions for even making a kicking motion.

Reports to OS indicate that the Zoom seminars are definitely an improvement over in-person. No more meaningless ice sessions. Everyone saves time and money. Closed-book test now a 3-hour open book. Refs already reporting that answers given out at seminar.

Finished online mods. For veteran Level 3s took about 75 minutes. Safe Sport was just a refresher course so that took 10 minutes. Not sure about this background check, plus the $30 fee every two years. Sounds like a money-maker. Will report any trick questions on open book.
