Only 3 “Velos” were even close to what throwing facilities and scouting services have been claiming these pitchers throw.

Maybe it’s time to start posting the walk rates, injury histories, and how many players are getting shut down from unhealthy arms too…

Velocity without command or durability means nothing.

And maybe live bullpens in December, January, and February shouldn’t be treated like it’s midseason either.
