He’s exactly right. NIL is funded by mostly private donations, not athletic revenue or endowment funds. It’s not sustainable.
Of course, morons point to his salary his last 3-4 head coaching jobs with no consideration for the fact that he spent 15 years of his life sleeping on a cot from the early 70’s to the late 80’s making $6 an hour staring at an overhead projector while drawing up formations for scout teams to run while pouring coffee and picking up bagels. He is representing active HC’s that cannot speak on this topic.
Nick Saban: "Now you have schools that have close to $40M rosters [in football]. If we continue to do that were going to lose olympic sports, were gonna lose non revenue sports. We're gonna have football and basketball succeed and were going to have club sports for everything else with no scholarships."
@emilyetaylor23 Well I’ve got a problem because I really like Kyle Wittingham. Subject to change😂.

NEW: Indiana's Curt Cignetti says College Football is in danger if something doesn't change soon:
“The market is pretty expensive — it’s scary. It’s scary. I think players should get paid. But something’s going to have to be done in the next 12 to 24 months, or universities might not be able to handle this. College football won’t exist the way we’re going right now.”

#Giants QB Jaxson Dart addressed teammates in a meeting yesterday to discuss his introduction of President Trump last week, sources tell me and @RapSheet.
Other team leaders spoke up as well, and Dart and the players worked through it. They are moving forward.
After the Legend Bey situation, Tennessee was going to do everything they could to “beat” OSU for this kid.
The DGG recruitment will go to the wire for this very reason.
Tennessee EDGE Chaz Coleman has yet to report to Knoxville for summer workouts, sources tell @Clowfb and me for @On3. Voluntary workouts began earlier this week.
Josh Heupel: “Chaz has been dealing with some things, and we’re here to support him. We’ll continue to go through that process.”
