For the past few years, our goal keeping department has improved massively and inaki carna is the reason why we see our goalies even saving penalties....... Give him his flowers coz he deserves them
Today at our Headquarters, we awarded Certificates of Completion to 184 students who have completed the 1st Level at the @NUP_Ug School of Leadership located at Kamwokya. The 184 awardees are divided into 4 categories- the foot-soldiers class, the professionals class, the elected leaders' class, as well as our Diaspora Class who attended virtual classes. This was the Second Cohort of students being awarded certificates.
We were honored to have Dr. @SpireJim Ssentongo deliver a very moving, educative and insightful keynote address on the occasion. We're deeply grateful to him for making time to come despite the fact that he's still mourning his brother who recently passed on. He challenged all of us to pursue that which matters most- kindness, integrity and impact, instead of focusing on material things which are but a passing shadow. He also reminded us that those who find joy in oppressing others can never have sustainable joy.
I congratulate all those who received their certificates today and appreciate them for investing time and energies in attending the rigorous classes. This is our way of giving back to the society, because we know for sure that if we have grounded leaders, our society will transform for the better. Thankful to our comrades who have been teaching and facilitating the classes.

Very saddened by the death of comrade Damalie Musiime who has been a staunch and reliable mobiliser of the @NUP_Ug especially in Eastern Uganda. I send my sincere condolences to her family, fellow comrades, and the country at large for losing such a patriot. Her burial is taking place in Bugiri District, where I am being represented by Deputy President Mama Lina Zedriga and many other comrades. May her gentle soul rest in peace๐
