Urban and traffic planning has to follow a holistic & health based approach to prevent premature deaths. Designing for cars results in environments that literally kill thousands every year. We really shouldn’t need to ask permission to build places that save lives.
To grapple with the complexity of how noncommunicable disease and environmental exposure are related, the study proposes what is known as an exposome approach. The exposome is defined as the totality of environmental exposures from a variety of sources.
