if youโve got any thoughts or ideas, let me know. iโm always open to feedback, just trying to make Case Closed the best version of itself

also testing new systems where you can collect physical evidence like fingerprints, and npcs might even give you items if you talk to them right. got a stable version of this working in another test project so planning to bring it into Case Closed soon
still got a bunch of bugs to squash and some key stuff to add before Case Closed is ready for beta
but in the meantime, hereโs a look at some ui tweaks iโve been working on
let me know what you think

the accusation system got a full rework. Instead of just picking someone from a list, you actually show your evidence to a police chief and try to convince them. makes the whole thing way more intense and fun

probably 50% of dev time lately has been on performance. trying to make sure Case Closed runs well even on lower end pcs. might add a setting for how deep the ai sim goes, so people can tweak it if needed. game should be good on most setups either way
thinking of limiting how far they can go, just to keep the gameplay focused. or maybe add vehicles so itโs faster to find them. not sure yet. what do you think?
Itโs been a while since the last update, but Iโve been working hard on Case Closed and wanted to share some of the latest tweaks and improvements Iโve added.
