The Ottawa Shoebox Project

We are a registered charity that collects and distributes gift-filled Shoeboxes to local women impacted by homelessness

[YMCA Ottawa @YMCA_Ottawa]

We saw an overwhelming amount of donations to our housing programs last month. Thank you to the following groups who brought so much warmth & joy to our residents over the holidays: @CentretownCHC, Toy Mountain, @OttawaShoebox , Cardel Homes, @pyjamapatrol, & Knox United Church.

Homelessness is often a consequence of several challenges faced. Key factors may include: lack of adequate income/rising costs of living, access to affordable housing & health services, the experience of discrimination.#breakthebias #ZeroDiscriminationDay #IWD2022 #donate #ottawa
