The Ottawa, KS, campus sustained minor damage from last night’s storm. Classes/events are cancelled for Tues, April 14, and planned to reopen on Wed, April 15.

Today we celebrate Freedom Day by honoring and commemorating the emancipation of enslaved people in the US, where on this date in 1865, in the aftermath of the Civil War, enslaved people were declared free under the terms of the 1862 Emancipation Proclamation. #FreedomDay
