Oxford University Lightweight Rowing Club exists to race and beat Cambridge every year at the Lightweight Boat Races.

The squad finished this years regatta on a high, with successes in the final two lightweight categories of the event.

Today saw the club field two entries into the Championship Lightweight 2x.

Champ Lwt 2x - 3rd 🥉 (Nick Ryan, Matt Hudson)
Champ Lwt 2x - 13th (Harrison Kieffer, Zac Abel)

Tomorrow we look forward to racing in the Champ Lwt 2-, and the Int Lwt 4x.

Today marked the first day of BUCS Regatta.

The club had two entries in the Intermediate Lwt 1x, one in the Champ Lwt 1x, and one in the  Champ Lwt 4- .

The club is excited to announce the Blue Boat for the 2022 @ii_couk Lightweight Men's Boat Race.

The crew will face Cambridge on Sunday 20th March at 14:25pm, on the Championship Course in London.

The club is proud to announce our Nephthys 2-, who will be racing Cambridge in the 2022 @ii_couk Men's Lightweight Boat Race.

Stroke: Zac Abel (Corpus)
Bow: Tom Wagstaff (St Catherine's)

Nephthys will race on the Tideway at 11:30am, on Friday 18th March.

Many congratulations to Matthew Hudson, who was elected as OULRC President for the 2021-2 season this week. A seasoned sculler on the Tyne, Matt stroked the Nephthys 2- which beat Cambridge this year.
