WHAT IF ADAM WAS THE BEGINNING OF THE BIBLICAL STORY — NOT THE BEGINNING OF EVERY HUMAN BEING?
There is an interesting way to connect the human evolution story with Genesis without simply dismissing either science or the Bible.
Modern science tells us that Homo sapiens have existed for roughly 300,000 years, evolving in Africa through a very long and complicated history. Our species also lived alongside other human populations. Neanderthals, for example, shared territory with modern humans and eventually interbred with them. Modern human populations still carry Neanderthal ancestry.
So humanity’s biological history is enormous.
But then Genesis appears to suddenly bring the story into focus on one man: Adam.
What if we are looking at something similar to how a kingdom tells its history?
Nkiro wa Vinny...
I gave you all you asked for
I gave you more than what you asked for
I gave you all I had
And then I asked you to stop hurting me
And you gave me HIV.
I received a wedding invitation. At the bottom it said:
"Your presence itself is a gift. We don't want any gifts at the wedding."
was confused, so I read it again and again.
It's been an hour and I'm still confused!
Am I invited or not??
Today, we were delighted to welcome renowned music icon Koffi Olomidé to Nairobi ahead of the much-anticipated Machoka @ 50 concert.
He was received by our Head of Ground Services, John Nalianya, as we get ready to celebrate 50 remarkable years of Fred Obachi Machoka’s journey in broadcasting and entertainment.
We’re proud to connect people, cultures and stories across Africa.
