OUR CLUB. OUR VOICE. OUR FUTURE.

Our first open letter to Barnsley supporters. 🔴 #barnsleyfc #neeravout

Barnsley have the youngest football team in England. That could be exciting. Here it is proof of a club well on its way to breaking point and the lowest ebb in 50 years.

@BarnsleyFC The board said, “When we’re no longer wanted, we’ll leave.” Well, you’re clearly no longer wanted, so it’s time to put the club up for sale and walk away. Stand by your words and do the right thing!

With the passing of Barnsley legend Barry Murphy, I want to reiterate the Oxford fixture on Saturday should be about honouring his memory and celebrating his legacy. Our protest against the ownership is still important, but there is a time and a place. ❤️ #BarnsleyFC

@James435981 It is definitely something that will be sorted in the near future if we have enough people on board.

🔴⚪IT’S TIME TO MAKE OUR VOICES HEARD.

On the 15th minute against Sheffield Wednesday, we’re calling on supporters to unite in protest against the board by forcing a stoppage in play that will be broadcasted on Sky Sports. Please share the message to all supporters.

@tnttrucker I have never published anything about boycotting the game.

@OurBarnsley @Cooky_Bfc why are we doing it against wednesday why not on saturday? against oxford

[Our Barnsley Our Future @OurBarnsley]

I have seen the question/suggestion of having a mass boycott circulating. So here is where I stand on it. Once we have enough supporters on board than 100% it is something to look at. #barnsleyfc

@Swfc14657 Hi Liam, while I understand your point, the likelihood of a big percentage of our fan base boycotting just isn’t there yet as well as having 5-6k ST holders. To start our movement I believe we need to bring attention to the problem first and then we can look at bigger movements.

@beardedtyke @archie76084 @BarnsleyFC The board have put the players in a horrible position. They’ve thrown them into a league where their quality just isn’t enough.

[Our Barnsley Our Future @OurBarnsley]

@archie76084 @TykesUnion @EyupandDown @Tykes_Tv There’s too many unrealistic ideas being thrown around like boycott etc it took years for Sheffield Wednesday to get to that point where it was noticeable.Start by showing our voice by tennis balls or something and get all fans on board first.

[Our Barnsley Our Future @OurBarnsley]

This club means everything to us as supporters and we are in a state where we are gradually declining season by season.

We need to demand change.

The fan base needs to come together as one to protest before it’s too late.

Our club. Our future. ✊
