In trying to minimize the wrong of girls being exposed to male genitalia in locker rooms, AES proves much, too much.
He advances an argument that would mean adults never trying to protect kids from *anything*, since they can be exposed, in theory, to whatever it is on the internet at any time.
What is supposed to be a clever defense of the indefensible turns out to be one of the most sweeping, and stupid, arguments we’ve ever heard for trans radicalism

Republicans have driven Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens out of the GOP.
Democrats have driven John Fetterman and Haley Stevens out of their party.
What does that tell you about who really is the big tent that fights intolerance?
Egypt for decades was run by two pro-American presidents, Anwar Sadat and Hosni Mubarak.
Abdul supported the overthrow of Mubarak by the Muslim Brotherhood, led by Mohamed Morsi.
End of story.
Abdul supported the MB over pro-American leaders. That’s all you need to know.
The hijackers of both planes would have seen these children in the waiting area and in their seats. Neither flight was full and it would have been obvious. But to them, the sacrifice of toddlers was part of a pious religious observance, by which they would go to paradise for the punch they landed against Western Civilization by blowing up children going to Disneyland. In a final act of anti-Western, anti-Semitic, Islamist fanaticism, they bathed ritually, read the Qur'an, prayed together, and murdered these babies.
I have undertaken this project to put a face to 9/11 by posting photos of everyone killed that day. If after everything that happened you can vote for the ideology that caused it then it's as if you are killing them yourself! Pictured below was 29 year old Christopher Amoroso who was a Port Authority police officer. Here he is famously shown helping a pregnant woman out of the towers. He ran back in four times and was killed when the North Tower imploded. He left behind a wife and 19 month old daughter and to forget even a single one of these people is a blasphemy!
"If you discovered all this in a suitcase, wouldn't you be this happy?"
That's what Customs and Border Protection joked after K-9 Maisy sniffed out a suitcase arriving from Thailand packed with nearly 100 pounds of prohibited meat, plants and wildlife products.
Officers say the luggage was stuffed with raw meat, mangoes, garlic, bamboo, banana plants and even a Bengal monitor lizard — a large, powerful reptile native to South and Southeast Asia that can grow more than five feet long. The lizard was turned over to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
Officials say agriculture detector dogs like Maisy help stop invasive pests, animal diseases and illegal wildlife from entering the U.S.
Bill Maher to Rosie O’Donnells: "You're just way too into Donald Trump as the person who CONTROLS how you think in life. If, at this point, 10 years into the Trump situation, you are still obsessing about his personality, my view is that's on you.”
Trump lost fair and square in 2020. Only women can get pregnant. The Trump assassination attempts were real. Mitch McConnell is alive. Michelle Obama is not a man. Barack Obama is a citizen. America is less racist than most countries. Police stop crime. Tariffs hurt the economy.
As I discussed and read from my friend Pastor Lucas Miles, director of TPUSA Faith, there are three levels on which the attack and argument (it isn't a debate) about Israel is happening:
1) Practical
2) Moral
3) Theological
Israel can and should be defended on all three levels right now by all people of good conscience, but the arguments are of different types in different domains.
The practical argument is the most clear and cut-and-dry, so it is the easiest one to argue on very solid ground. The people arguing against this, in fact, aren't just wrong but sound insane and/or evil to people who know anything about what's going on in the world. Still, the challenge here is that the issue is polarized deeply, and facts are only minimally persuasive, especially when given (instead of when sought).
The moral argument cuts deeper, and while it's even more clear to me, it is clear to fewer people and harder to make persuasively. In fact, it has a high chance of backfiring in the moral fog of war that we're in and with a population that has been reflexively trained to reject moral arguments thanks to the moralizing of the Woke and globalist Left. Many people cannot be persuaded this way but can be pushed away through what's a kind of backfire effect.
The theological argument is deepest but it is also the most intractable, sectarian, and bound up with deeply personal senses of identity. You see this everywhere. "Catholics believe this!" "That's just Dispensationalist propaganda." "Jews of today are not the Israel of the Bible" etc.
The hard part is that these beliefs are in part deeply sectarian even when the sects can agree on the relevant scriptures (Jews, Protestants, and Catholics all laim different, though overlapping Bibles, not just different interpretations and doctrines). There's no "worldly" (practical or moral) resolution of sectarian disagreements. They're all "we believe this, you believe that, and nobody is moving, and we're right, and everyone else is wrong."
That means despite its depth and importance, the theological argument is actually the most dangerous and often useless to make. It mostly only works in the "preaching to the choir" sense and is frequently counterproductive across sectarian lines.
How each of us chooses to engage these arguments is up to each of us, but we should only engage them fully aware of their strengths, weaknesses, advantages, disadvantages, and backfire points.
The Christian and the Jew are inextricable.
The Christian worships a Jew (Jesus) and their faith is a branch of early Judaism.
The foundation of the faith is The Torah (a Hebrew work).
Without the Jew there would be no Christian.
This is objective truth.
Western Civilization, which is a blend of many cultures, has spread its tentacles all across the globe.
A segment of western man wishes to place blame of colonization at the feet of Israel.
However, this is a game.
Israel is the cat’s paw for western civ. A convenient scapegoat.
Historical patterns reveal that western expansion would persist with or without Israel.
Ie. Cecil Rhodes and the British colonization of South Africa.
Iran is part of the Western Asian Conquest final stages dating back to 1750 and the Ottoman Empire.
It is an unfinished job (like Palestine).
Some judge the West. Some choose justification and others condemnation.
I choose neither.
I see things for what they are. Patterns western foreign policy.
But to single out Israel as the single cause for war would mean to ignore centuries of history.
It would mean that America is impotent and Israel is all powerful.
If that is true then you must acquiesce and say America isn’t the greatest but Israel is.
We know that is not true.
The truth is, there is a partnership or familial bond which cannot be broken because both sides stand to lose too much.
Now, Western man must accept that everything that brings him comfort came from conquest. And Israel is an ally in conquest.
So, your choices are, war (colonialism) is bad and thus so is western civ and America.
Or accept colonialism for what it is. A zero sum game for which western man benefits.
Which way western man?
It’s more and more clear that October 7 was for Islamic radicals what Pearl Harbor was for the Japanese—a brilliant tactical success that carried within it the seeds of catastrophic strategic failure
Okay, so according to Candace Owens, I’m expected to believe:
- Erika Kirk hatched a grand plan to conquer the world.
- Got Charlie to fall in love with her and married him. Next level seduction…
- Had two of his children. Dedication…
- Let it slip on a national interview that her kids woke up at 3 in the morning, which is probable cause to “drag Erika into a police precinct.”
- Met with some of the world’s top military and government officials to conspire to assassinate him. The only proof of this is some random dude walked by the ENTIRE THING, saw Erika, and went “Oh, that’s whatsherface…”
- Got him assassinated when he had so much more upside in his future.
- Finally took over the world… or at least TPUSA.
Meanwhile, all the Candacesexuals are like “YAAASSSSS KWEEEEEEEEN!”
Am I missing something?
We’re all just one diagnosis, one accident, one unexpected phone call away from a completely different life. So stay humble and never take anything for granted.
I wanted to share one of the things I’m doing for Lent in case anyone needs an idea. I wrote down 40 names of people I know, placed them in a jar, and each day I’ll draw one to pray intentionally for that person or family. 🩷
If a Catholic prayer app gets otherwise apathetic Catholics to pray every day of lent instead of scrolling TikTok, and they are partially encouraged to do so because they like Jonathan Roumie then I really don’t see the issue.
I am obviously a huge proponent of having children but one thing that really bothers me about conservative messaging on this is there are so many women who want to become mothers and can’t or - just haven’t found the right person. Also some women don’t want children and it’s ok.
We should be welcoming of all kinds of women and voters. I find this messaging just so harsh and I know others do too because they privately message me about it because I’ve shared my journey with miscarriages publicly. So many women are feeling so much shame and I hate it.
I just don’t get what we’re doing here and would be cool if we focused on a broader idea and more nuanced image of a conservative woman.
