If someone politely asking a basic question about whether or not something has been good for your state brings you to tears, you should not be making decisions for your state.
Idk why this is the one that has me crying at work. I think it’s finally hitting me. My journey began so long ago on the D1 beta. All these years felt like a blink of an eye and my life is chronologically remembered by season releases and DLC drops.
The teaser trailer for The Final Shape was so crazy to watch for the first time... Revealing Cayde's return will be one of the most hyped moments in my gaming life... I was so ready to get my hands on this expansion just to see my best friend again.

Thousands of upvotes btw. Destiny reddit was always quick to point fingers at activision for greed and bad decision making but they were never the actual problem, and here we are. The game was best when activision was a part of it. High moon and VV made insanely fun and memorable content
At its best, content was a machine to create memories and friendships. No new content stings.
This pain is about losing a place where so many memories were made. It stings not because of what it was, but the realization of what it won't be.
