With this, I'm done with NG+ indefinitely. Currently working on learning Any% KPDR (goal: 42), streaming every Weds and Thurs.

Hoping to start runs early April, but given that I've never done this route before, it might take a bit longer to feel comfortable with everything.

I'm going to try to snag one more personal best in NG+ (not-all-bosses). After that, I think I'm gonna play Any% KPDR for the first time ever, hopefully culminating in a 42. I think that'll be a fresh, fun experience.

Made big strides lately in this category, from 28:49 (first sub 29) to 28:46 (first 00:19 IGT) to this. Still far from perfect, but I think it's fine for now. 🙂

Had just enough time for one run yesterday, and it wasn't too bad. Skipped :5X, almost 00:19 IGT but not quite. Surprising run considering mid Phan and no spikesuit.

I did a fun little thing and spliced together a run made entirely out of my "best splits" from my Any% grind last year. My SoB ended up being ~40:30.4 using 7 total splits, which I think is alright considering what I did and didn't 'go for'.

Spent the past weekend whittling my NG+ AB time down. From 29:22 to 29:13, 29:11, 29:04, and finally 29:01. Slow Phantoon and many mistakes. 28 soon hopefully.

I might work further on this, but my plan is to make a brief detour to "All Bosses" (NG+) and improve that record. A 28 should definitely be possible in that category. After that, who knows!

The NG+ improving continues, at least for now. Clinched this one a few days ago in spite of a slower (mid instead of fast) Phantoon opening and many little mistakes.

Progress Report (Phan was mid/mid)

Had a run today that was -3 at Botwoon E-Tank / "40:54 best possible time" there, my fastest pace so far by about 2 secs, with fast/mid (not fast/fast, which my PB has). It feels like full halfie becomes a coinflip whenever I'm ahead, though... oh well, it's progress.

My progress in October:

Average completion time was ~41:45, out of 46 completions this month. Didn't reset much, either.

3 1Xs - :13, :14, :19. Prior to this month, my *only* 1X was a 41:19 (June).

Improved 4 out of 7 golds, and lowered SoB by ~5 secs. Just shy of 40:2X now.
