@ACautiously @motelwhcres App binaries are signed with app store certs. If you download any old app from any source while you can get the binary you cannot guarantee it isn’t sideloaded with malware. Not sure its worth the risk!

@GergelyOrosz you can help build backend. If the CI has issues, you can help with that. If the backend is ahead, you can help build frontend/mobile. This is the only way to have maximum impact. Too many engineers get hung up on specialisation in a particular stack and develop blinders/ biases

@GergelyOrosz Google does chop and change their direction, for example in Google I/O 2024 they also started recommending Kotlin multiplatform as an option whilst still also having active development in flutter. I guess this has more to do with internal experimentation and investment though.
