@ASMU_Sendplight If the LA agreed to pay for private education, (very rare however with good reasoning and if they qualified) they would only be charged for the time the pupil was there. The funding is attached to the child so if they move the funding moves.

@RebekahJ1 It is a great recommendation and shouldn’t be used as a punishment. Children who need to be near the front should be put there. Not punished when triggered if they sit at the back :( very sad
Why are teachers moving ‘naughty pupils’ to the front of the class? It should be a positive behavioural support strategy- an offering of help to those pupils who need it, not seen as a punishment… encourage pupils to let them see a teacher is there to help…. 🥴#Basic
@LUC_autism SATS introduce anxiety, pressure, stress, Peer comparisons and a sense of failure. Many of which spend year on teenage years undoing. Concentrating only on one method of learning to children suitable for a small percentage to show their true potential… at a crucial age. 😞
