@mattbo_0 I'm a Snyder fan and can honestly say the movie was OK. Its a different type of Zack, for sure, but it does have some glaring flaws. You can tell its a passion project - which has both positives and negatives.

Okay, yeah, The Odyssey was incredible. Shame on me for even doubting Nolan for a second. Yes, some casting is a bit questionable and sometimes takes you out - but its doesn't matter. Visuals, storytelling, score - all top notch. Saw it in 70mm IMAX, so I was blessed today.

@ApollosMission It was a fairly flawed film, sadly, despite my high hopes. The writing was extremely lazy, featured of a ton of missed opportunities and had far too many conveniences given to the characters.
Emily Blunt was extraordinary, however, and saved what little was left.

@TheFilmJunkee No personal animosity, but this is a perfect example of thinking you're speaking facts without having any. Lots of ppl in the same boat. If everyone would put a disclaimer stating this is their personal opinion w/o any credible intel, it would be ok. But then no clicks, so.

The issue is: a lot of Snyder haters also said Man of Steel didn't make a lot of money or wasn't a "success" - they are in the same boat.

The difference: the standards were a lot higher previously.

@TheCriticalDri2 I'm almost certain IGN does it on purpose at this point. Their reputation for media critique is now a meme, and in turn, still generates click. Probably more so than if they were to give sensical ratings.
