@EsportsHector This is probably best on a per-university basis as not every university has the same programs as others and are certainly not structured the same within said programs. Lots of pros AND cons with Athletics getting involved.

Too many teams in you division so the top/bottom are too wide
Not enough collegiate teams competing in the league leading to the inability to create divisions of a similar skill level
Poor placement of teams where teams are in the wrong division
