Hi all
There's a fantastic day today at brunton park for a good cause for dad's mental health and dad's losing their children, it would be amazing if you have free time if you could pop down and support. Thankyou @officialcufc@bbccumbriasport
All I will say is he tried to do it the only way he could, wish he was more progressive and played our way and not to stifle opposition. It was a very solid failure ultimately. All the best with whatever he does in the future.

After eleven unforgettable seasons in red, club captain and fans’ favourite David Symington has announced his retirement from football.
From making his debut during the 2014/15 season to becoming one of the most influential players of a generation at Workington AFC, Dav leaves behind a legacy that will take some replacing.
Across 296 starts and 54 substitute appearances, he scored an incredible 113 competitive goals for the Reds — alongside a further 19 goals in 56 non-competitive appearances. Numbers that only tell part of the story.
A talisman on the pitch, a leader in the dressing room, and one of the most respected figures around the football club, Dav has played a huge role in so many memorable moments across the last decade.
Whether it was spectacular goals, big performances in important moments, or simply the standards he set every single day around the club, he represented Workington AFC with pride, passion and commitment throughout.
Football clubs are built on people as much as players — and Dav has been a massive part of this club both on and off the pitch.
Everyone at Workington AFC would like to thank Dav for everything he has given to the club and wish him and his family nothing but the very best for the future.
Once a Red, always a Red ❤️

Could be me, but one of the least memorable premier league on record. Bring back entertaining attacking football for gods sakes, it's made its way down the entire pyramid. Still believe this way of playing is coached into people getting their badges.
@BoertienLiam This is where all of them should be working together as if we were personally at war, the crisis is caused by foreign nations and nobody is saying we should be working together.
That's Wes streetings bluff well and truly called. I say fair play to Keir.
A significant amount of people (mostly reform voters)will not accept Wes purely down to him being gay (absolutely no reason why a gay person cannot be pm)
Other is rayner and she has had her issues.
@BoertienLiam No denying the polls at all, just don't see what any of them can do and that includes reform to improved the day to day life's of people. When you have idiots overseas wanting to start wars and invasions that hurt us daily.
@BoertienLiam Then the NEC need to approve it again I'm not so sure they want to lost GM mayor because they will and will have a reform mayor. Wes has basically done all the work for Farage here.
@BoertienLiam Again no point, he isn't an Mp, would need to get that first and that's debatable if it will be allowed then he needs to challenge starmer that could be months. It's the only option I can see as a credible pm though.
@Jonnyreay Don't think it's impatient, it's about setting a precedent that we are a club who are prepared/ready for the push for promotion. My concern is what Hughes said" it could be a couple of weeks " seems like the balls in his court.
@Keano1981@bbccumbriasport@BBCSounds Exactly no manager would ever get a job if they had to have a promotion on a CV. Think what is needed is fresh ideas and someone who is not scared/nervous about losing. Get on the front foot, pace, pressure and a give it all mentality.
