@belfastairport I hate to be negative but this security experience is absolutely abysmal. Edinburgh (not my favourite airport by any means) can put you through in 5 minutes. Been in this queue for security for almost 30 minutes. And there’s no one directing the queues
Quality of British reporting on what's happening in Belfast is abysmal, you'd expect the tone to be bad, but it seems no-one bar the BBC bothers to employ an NI correspondent any more, so there's a total lack of basic local literacy.
This week we are joined by political strategist Andy Maciver, discussing whether parties can benefit from being part of a wider political movement while still maintaining their own distinct national identity.
"Nobody can turn round and say that actually we're taking our orders from 400 miles down the road".
Can regional parties stay connected to national movements without losing their own identity?

@ScotCitylink hi there, I’m taking the bus/ferry from Belfast Grand Central to Glasgow tomorrow for the first time. It says I have to check in 45 minutes prior to departure. Does this just mean that I have to get to Grand Central then or is there an online check in?
🔥Tromlach ollmhór, 92% (4,607) ar son Ollscoil Dhátheangach i mBéal Feirste agus toradh cinniúnach ar reifreann chun an Ghaeilge a chur ar chomhchéim leis an Bhéarla in Ollscoil na Banríona

"The referendum will also ask students whether Irish and English should be given equal status by the university."
"Students will vote on whether the university's name and official logo should be in English and Irish."

Great to visit Stormont today for the first time with my Politics and Institutions of Northern Ireland class.
Sat in on some of the day’s proceedings which gave me a great insight into how the Assembly works day-to-day.
@IrishRail@Translink_NI hi, I’m wondering if you can help me - I’m looking to buy a single from Dublin to Belfast with my 24+ student railcard. When I went onto the Translink website, it would only let me book from Belfast. So I went onto Irish Rail’s website, but the only 1/2
option said “19 - 25 Years / Full & Part Time (Valid ID Required)”. Just wanted to clarify if that includes my Translink railcard, as I’m over 25. Thanks 😊 2/2
Fascinating day spent at the “From Boundary Commission to Border Poll? A Century of the Irish Border” conference with @QUBelfast
It was a fascinating insight into the history, present, and future of partition. Really helpful in informing my research as a student of Politics.
