I really enjoyed @Redolaf's Domestika course 'Illustrated Stories: From Idea to Paper' and had fun with my final piece based on Angela Carter's 'The Company of Wolves'. Very seasonal I know ๐๐บ Check out his course and I'll be sharing more wolves soon! https://t.co/NDJU46Jrwc
I'm in the process of removing a lot of art from Instagram and other Meta sites, due to their decisions to use our data to feed their AI. Instead, I am planning on only posting art that is protected with Glaze: a sort of overlay that confuses AI scrapers.
Having artwork that I am passionate about, be recognized by a jury from the illustration community, is reaffirming. Especially at 29yrs in this career THANK YOU @AmericanIllust
โStay Skepticalโ Dedicated to books stores, the stories they hold and the threat that looms over them.
After the bustle of Tokyo, it was nice to be somewhere less touristy. Kagoshima, to the South of Kyushu, was theย perfect change of pace. I enjoyed sketching about town & seeing how chill the locals were in spite of Sakurajima the volcano, merrily smoking away all day! ๐ป๐
Quick sketch in a ramen bar near Shibuya. I had the most delicious, garlicky ramen here. Afterwards we went back to the famous Shibuya Scramble Crossing and crossed about 6 times just for fun! ๐๐ปโ๏ธ
absolutly going for gold (lol everyone is launching new seasons at the same time and oh no i must pencil this graphic novel ๐ฅ๐ ๐ฅ)

Watercolour at Kagoshima Harbour. It was very hot that morning, we were kept company by flocks of large birds of prey that seemed to hang out by the water there. Sakurajima, the volcano was gently smoking across the way. Very dreamy! โด๏ธ๐ฆ ๐๐ป
I had a growing pile of prints with too many errors to sell (even as a misprint), so I chopped them up into little cards! I love how unique they are โจ๏ธ
Currently using them as online shop thank you cards :)
I really love Japanese vehicles, theyโre so compact and characterful. We got carried away sketching and photographing them during our trip! Hereโs a couple of trucks from Haneda airport and a delivery van at Yakushima harbour. ๐๐ป
