They are different tools, so it depends on what works for you. It can also be that you end up using both.

Other World Mapper is vector based and runs on your PC rather than be on the web. Those are two pretty big differences. It's also a one-time purchase rather than subscription.

It is simple. You'd just set the grid dimensions to match your minis' scale and then just print the map or export to send to a printer shop :)

What did you use to develop it? Other World Mapper lets you import shapefile and svg data, but if it's an image, you can also set it as the canvas background and use our tools to "trace" it.
