Detailed a few minor issues in the report on our website. Overall a very good release, though. Big THANK YOU to @PMStudiosUSA for hooking us up with a review copy.
Sony should invest in more family/kids games IMO to engage this audience
I played kid-focused mascot games when I was young (Crash, Spyro, Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter) and it made me a PlayStation user & fan for life
Too much current focus on adult M-rated IMO
More Astro Bot type games focused on joy & fun, please! 💙
REPORT: PlayStation single player exclusives will remain exclusive, with NO “case-by-case basis” for PC or other platforms🚀
“I guess they're not going to lay this out publicly, but there's no ambiguity in their strategy.
During a townhall a few weeks ago, Hermen Hulst told staff that their single-player narrative games will be PlayStation only, and he explained that they were inconsistent with their PC releases, they didn't make enough money, and they want to keep their IP aligned to their own platform.
Confirmed this with two people who heard him say it.
There's no "case by case" here.”😎

Sony 2026 Annual Report:
"The operating performance of the G&NS segment for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026 reflected steady growth in revenues from network services and game software sales, benefitting from the expanded installed base of PS5, with operating income reaching a record high for the segment.
In this environment, Sony aims to achieve sustainable business growth by seeking higher revenue and profits from PlayStation Plus, maximising average revenue per user on the PlayStation Store, expanding sales of first party game software, and strengthening control over business costs and supply chain management.
In hardware, although Sony expects to be affected by the impact of increased prices and supply shortages of memory semiconductors, it plans to manage the impact on profitability by flexibly adjusting plans for, among other things, unit sales and promotions.
Regarding Sony's first party game software, Sony aims to create a stable base of revenue through consistent, annual releases of singleplayer games, which have traditionally been its core strength, while also building a portfolio of live service games."
Sony Removes All Mention Of PC In It’s Annual 2026 Report:
2025: "Sony plans to continue its efforts to deploy its first-party titles to multiple platforms such as PC"
2026: No mention of anything PC related
It all depends

Since we no longer have a media...
- Xbox spent 100 billion on studios for Gamepass
- Studios were purchased because devs want nothing to do with Gamepass because it's not profitable
- Closing those studios (removing COD) is the end of Gamepass
- For 25 years, Xbox has catered to an unsophicated base so I would expect they try to keep base subscribed. PS+ model? New model?
A lot of them are too stupid to realize what Xbox is doing like how they raised the cost of Xbox live to $120 and hid in Gamepass after the backlash
