@NFT__NG X @teddi_speaks PAY US (THE WINNERS). The 2026 Unchain summer campaign was announced on 24th June 2026 with a price pool of ₦1 million for creators. Later @thissdax added another ₦1 million, bringing the total prize pool to ₦2 million for the top 10 creators. The campaign ended on August 1st 2026. We waited. Then we waited some more. For over three weeks, creators kept asking in the group about the winners and, more importantly, when the rewards would be paid. But within these 3 to 4 weeks, the moderator kept telling us that they will announce winners soon. Eventually, the winners were announced without a direction or any statement about how we will claim our rewards. The announcement looked like a mere appreciation for a volunteer role. But the money still hasn’t been paid. It has now been over a week since the winners were announced, and many of the creators who participated, created content, promoted the campaign and contributed to the event are still waiting for their rewards. Creators already spent weeks doing the work. After the campaign ended, we waited more than three weeks just for the winners to be announced. Now the winners have finally been announced, and we’re still being left waiting for the actual rewards. The event group has also been deleted by the moderator @toria_dickson Whom I kept asking about our rewards, her responses can be found below I personally reached out to the convener, @teddi_speaks, on Telegram to ask about the payment. The message was read. No response. We were also told by the moderator @toria_dickson that the payment was “none of her business.” So let me make this very clear: We’re not asking for anything extra. We’re asking for the prize money that was announced for the campaign winners. If there is a legitimate reason for the delay, communicate it clearly to the creators. That is the bare minimum. Because announcing winners and then leaving those same winners waiting without proper communication creates the impression to the public that the rewards may have already been paid. They haven’t. What’s even more disturbing is seeing the convener continue running giveaways while creators who helped make this event happen are still waiting for the rewards they were promised. What are we supposed to call ignoring messages and refusing to provide an update on what is causing the delay? We need our rewards. Private complaints and direct messages have not gotten us anywhere. That is why we’re making this public. @NFT__NG X @teddi_speaks pay us. And if there is a genuine reason for the delay, communicate it. The winners deserve their money and an explanation.
