How I’ve learnt to tackle problems and build projects

One of the most effective ways I’ve discovered to handle any project or problem, whether technical or otherwise, is to break it down into smaller, manageable parts.

This method of deconstructing problems helps reduce overwhelm, creates clarity, and gives a clear path forward. Each small win builds momentum toward the complete solution.

Here is my #Snake_Game Project using the Python turtle graphics.

So now, we’re thinking in terms of:

• How do we make the snake move?

• How do we control its direction?

• How does it detect collision with food or walls?

• How do we update the score?

I start by identifying the core features or functionalities needed for the project. This helps me filter out the noise and focus on what really matters.

Once I have a list of those core parts, I work on them one at a time.

Take the classic Snake Game as an example:

At a glance, it seems simple. But when you break it down, you’ll notice it's made up of:

• The snake itself
• The food
• A scoreboard to track points

But it doesn’t end there. You need to make the snake move and also respond to controls like arrow keys.
