Women are saying if there’s a balanced or equal financial contribution to the household there must be equal contribution to the household chores as well.

Sounds fair to me. As a reasonable man, I can’t have my wife who earns R40k and pays school fees, car instalment, electricity and security waking up in the morning to prep the kids for school, make our lunch boxes, take the kids to school and come back after work to cook, wash dishes, check homework and get the kids ready for bed while I, with my R30k salary pay bond and buy groceries and my only chores are sweeping the yard and cleaning the pool once a week and changing light bulbs as and when the need arises.

Times have changed, equal contribution means financially and physically to household chores.
