@Wisteraverse Social media makes a big difference with this though!! Discord and Reddit are great places to find your people whom you would have a hard time finding without it. We’re in an age where things are changing, small towns aren’t isolated anymore yk? I hope you write the book

@clgslr Building the world and culture around my characters and non essentials to bring scenes to life plus connecting little details for the final few chapters. 🥲a lot of showing I guess. Usually cut from like 250K to 150K or less

@ehsleeta Writing the way you want then combing it in editting deleting things that say too much or don’t match the pace of the scene helps.

@lhallwriter Depends on the book, my historical fictions are accurate (atleast 80-98%) but my other books even urban or realistic are like 60-80% to match my imagination

@AuthorGoodwin Yes only bc my brain tells me when to stop depending on the book. Some have long chapters, some have short and some have different length chapters depending on the flow. Probably depends on your targeted audience too though

@author_VV Writing before work, brainstorming mentally on big scenes while going home, writing when I get home until dinner time. Writing during my free time, carrying notebooks etc. tbh prep on the weekends and write during the week works best for me

@elchandler Varies but usually 18-27 (outliers at 8-14 for my kid books
