@GMB remember the thing mums always say ‘if Johnny jumped of a cliff would you do it ‘ just because gov had an alleged party. Doesn’t mean we can all break the rules now .
@GMB@richardm56 A delay in events will be so damaging , we can’t just go back to work , takes weeks to plan and get ready , also children’s birthday parties are being effected .nobody is taking about that . Let’s call it a protest and we can then meet up .
@piersmorgan It’s not Xmas I’m worried about , it’s the work I’m losing again if we don’t come out of lock down which is going to effect for many years
@RishiSunak To all those saying where is the money coming from , i hope you are happy with your rich lifestyle and are nit being effected , at least Rishi is doing something
@RishiSunak So how does the suppliers to these venues that are forced to close get some funds , self employed also need help , sugestion a basic £250-£300 per week across the. Board
@RishiSunak@ITVNewsPolitics The 1.57bn didn’t Goto children’s entertainers, it went to buildings which is great , but the workers are still being told we can’t goto work , there will be a big hole next year when it comes to taxes . How about a min wage if £250 per week to support , we supported banks
@Ed_Miliband Well said , tell all the charities that the creative industry isn’t a viable job , imagine lockdown with no Tv , radio . Entertainers lives matter
It's wrong, insulting and terrible for our country's economic
future to write off jobs and businesses as not "viable". These were good, viable businesses before the pandemic and we need them after the crisis is over. The government must act to save them. BEIS questions earlier:
@RishiSunak This is not going to help the hospitality industry , we are not allowed to Goto work , and now no help . I just hope when you want all the entertainers to help with charity events we will charge our full fee
