It’s almost here! This year’s Dr. Lewis B. O’Donnell Media Summit will be the 20th Annual, and we are inviting all students, staff, and members of the public to attend.
The topic of this year’s event is to be announced tomorrow! Can you guess who will be making an appearance?
The annual media summit is BACK!! This WEDNESDAY 3/29 at 5 pm at Langian 102, join us for our General Interest Meeting and learn how YOU can become involved as a volunteer or e-board member.
No experience is necessary to participate!

Julie DiCaro is a Peabody-winning journalist, former sports radio host, and currently a Senior Writer/Editor at Deadspin. She is author of the book "Sidelined: Sports, Culture, and Being a Woman in America". She has also written for the NY Times, Washington Post, and Vice Sports.
Ade Ellis graduated SUNY Oswego in 2004 with a degree in Broadcasting. Ellis is currently an associate director and associate producer for CBS Sports for the NFL on CBS, NCAA Basketball, and the PGA Tour. In 2021 Ellis established the CBS Sports original program "Beyond Limits".
Yaw Ofori-Atta graduated SUNY Oswego with a degree in Broadcasting. Yaw interned with the morning show “Regis and Kelly''. After this, he got a position in programming at ESPN. He currently serves as the producer for CBS Sports and produces freelance content.
Destiny Lynch graduated from SUNY Oswego in 2015. She started out as an intern at BPCM Public Relations firm. After that, she served as a freelancer for a clothing brand, then became a merchandising assistant at Ross. Destiny is now an Executive Team Leader of Specialty Sales.
Donna Goldsmith graduated from SUNY Oswego in 1982. She now works as a marketing operations consultant for different sports and entertainment companies. Before this Donna spent ten years working for WWE as Executive VP of Consumer Products then was promoted to Chief Operating.
Allif Karim graduated SUNY Oswego in 2018 and has since been a Sports Director for WDVM-TV and is currently working as a Producer and Editor for WJZ-13. Karim has also covered the Washington Nationals and Washington D.C's NFL franchise as they adopted the "Commanders" moniker.
Morgan Rumpf is a SUNY Oswego graduate from 2017. Morgan became a Sports Anchor and News Multimedia Journalist at KMVT in Twin Falls, Idaho. Currently, Morgan is the Chief Marketing Officer for C-Suite Executive Solutions, a business management and consulting company in NH.
Dylan Labadia graduated SUNY Oswego in 2015 with a degree in Communication and Social Interaction. Dylan started his career in his junior year with Vector/Cutco which grew into his career and now has control of budgets, advertising, marketing, interviewing, and training staff.
This is Paul Esden, he has worked in many roles in the sports media industry. Paul has been a Co-host of the Manchild Show with Boy Green on The Score 1260, the voice of the Syracuse Strong, and New York Jets Digital Reporter for the https://t.co/zYa0oEMbfP
Our first Career Connector is Natalie Brophy. Natalie graduated from SUNY Oswego with a degree in journalism. She has worked as a city government reporter for The Citizen Newspaper, spent three years with USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin, and is now working with The Buffalo News.
The month of the Media Summit is here! On Wednesday, October 26th, SUNY Oswego will be hosting a diverse panel of Oswego alumni discussing this year's theme of "Reaching for the Summit and Underrepresentation in Sports Media."
