Everyone is fighting a battle you may never know about. Be kind with your words, patient with your expectations, and generous with your understanding.🙏🙏
A bird has never paid rent to live in the sky. A tree has never paid to stand in a forest. The sun has never been charged for rising. The river has never paid to flow.
Yet humans spend their whole lives trying to earn permission to exist on earth
"Hiroyuki Sanada once said, 'There are those who want a swimming pool in the house, while those who have one barely use it.
Those who have lost a loved one feel a deep sense of loss, while others who hold them close often complain about them.
Those who do not have a partner yearn for him, but those who have, sometimes do not value him.
The hungry would give anything for a plate of food, while the well-fed complains about the taste.
The one who doesn't have a car dreams, while the one who has one is always looking for a better one.
The key is to be grateful, look carefully at what we have and understand that somewhere, someone would give everything for what you already have and don't appreciate.”
HOW I RENEWED A NIGERIAN PASSPORT USING CONTACTLESS SYSTEM & GOT IT DELIVERED TO MY DOOR
✅STEP 1: Go to the website of Nig. Immigration Service: https://t.co/beH5cE22QQ. I learnt you can also use the NIS Mobile App too.
✅STEP 2: Register an account with a valid email address and select “Apply for Renewal/Re-issue”
✅STEP 3: Provide your NIN and your Date of Birth to know your eligibility for the contactless system renewal.
✅STEP 4: Fill your personal
Information (NIN data may pre-populate) and upload required documents including old passports and photographs).
- Choose location for processing and no. of pages for your booklet too.
- PRO TIP: Use the “Photo Test Upload” on Homepage to know if your passport photograph is ICAO compliant - white background, etc,
✅ STEP 5: Download the NIS Mobile App for your biometric enrollment using your existing application. It includes a facial capture and fingerprints enrollment too.
- PRO TIP: One finger at a time seems to work better and use a good phone too.
- Follow the app instructions carefully for face and fingerprint capture.
✅ STEP 6: Review and submit your details once completed.
✅ STEP 7: Make your payment using any of the payment options available (I used paystack).
- Ensure you retain your Application ID & Payment Receipt Number.
- View Payment Confirmation on your online portal .
✅ STEP 8: Mail your old passport booklet, Payment Confirmation Page and a $50 money order to the address you chose to process your application (mine was Nig. Consulate in Atlanta, GA).
- NOTE: I used USPS Priority Mail because you can track it and I also bought the money order at the USPS store.
- NOTE: Use USPS Return Envelope service so that the processing location can mail back your old and new passport to you once they’re done. That means you get 2 tracking numbers (one for the sent package and one for the return envelope that will be returned to you with your documents (you pay for both). Put the Return Envelope inside the envelope mail your’e sending.
- NOTE: Make sure it is correctly addressed to the processing location office and your house address is correct as well.
✅ STEP 9: Wait for delivery, which you can track via USPS and you can also view your passport production progress on the application homepage by clicking “Track Application.”
✅ STEP 10: Once produced, you can track home delivery of your new and old passport via the scene USPS tracking number to know when your passports arrive.
✅ Happy to answer your questions.
🎉 Goodluck with the process.

AI Agents, explained in Yoruba.
AI Agents (Ọ̀gbọ́n àpinlẹ̀rọ aláròbọ) are tools that can plan tasks, use tools, and act on your behalf. How are they different from chatbots?
This video is part of my Tech and AI literacy series in Yoruba: https://t.co/1tt95QLDzz
