@SteveLovesAmmo This is a simple lie. 5 year old wasn't arrested. He was very upset, his dad was arrested and he was being taken to a place of safety (and so was put in the back of the police car). I know you're paid to make stuff up but this is scraping the bottom of the barrel.

@aquitainexox The police arrested the father who had become aggressive,the boy was hysterical & was pu in the police car for his own safety standard operating procedure the mum was screaming so didn’t help the situation the boy was in the police care for a short time till family collected him

@VickiPMcKellar Come on Vicky, you have watched a 20 second clip and passed judgement, he’s a Gypsy kid who was smashing up the police car and abusing the officers, got exactly what he deserved, now behave yourself and stop having a go at officers because it’s the in thing at the moment 🙄

@ErinDoors180240 @AlistairCarns I don’t think the child was treated barbarically he was quite clearly hysterical & was put out of harms way for his own safety I think a trained officer experienced in dealing with children could have been useful but a chaotic situation priority get the kid out of harms way

This was also not a “brutal” arrest. This was an arrest. Advising the witness to get back or OC spay will be used on them is not wrong either. Officers are not only concerned about their own safety but the safety of him.

@NationalAware Officers decided that it probably wasn’t a good idea to put him in the back of the van with his violent father and leaving him at the scene on his own was not a good alternative.

@NationalAware His young son was understandably upset but this didn’t seem to bother his father who continued to fight. He was oblivious to the anxiety being caused to his son.
Other officers took care of the child and drove him back to the police station.

@NationalAware A man was arrested for reasons we don’t yet know. He resisted arrest and so police used their power to use force because persuasion wasn’t working. They will be answerable in due course for the decision to do so. Everything is on camera .

His young son was understandably upset but this didn’t seem to bother his father who continued to fight. He was oblivious to the anxiety being caused to his son.

Officers decided that it probably wasn’t a good idea to put him in the back of the van with his violent father and leaving him at the scene on his own was not a good alternative.
