If you're a high-value target, never post pictures or screenshots of any phishing attempts you receive. Cropping or redacting may not be enough.

Ledger data leaks gave attackers names and addresses. They didn't leak X handles. And a posted image can make a leaked address worth visiting.

These letters have identifiers that are easy to underestimate. The QR code, ref. number, dates, formatting, exact phrasing, etc, can be used to identify recipient batches, or even single recipients via unique or combined markers. If the envelope is in frame, there may be unique mail barcodes and other data known by the mailer. Reflections and background do the rest.

Even with all that stripped, timing can still help. Post timestamp plus postmark window plus the batch's known distribution area may narrow you down to a very small pool.
