That is why, when the government collapsed in 1991, they could have continued with the Somali curriculum but instead adopted educational systems from Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and the UAE, which were inferior to ours.

[Heeybe H @P53Bytes]

During Somalia’s golden age, these leaders were academically incompetent and would never have graduated because the Somali curriculum was too demanding for them. They resented its standards.

[Elham Ishmael ✍︎ @EIshmael_]

Honestly, what on earth is wrong with this Ministry of Education? The old Somali curriculum is already there, and it’s genuinely refreshing to read! How incompetent can a minister be to overlook what we already have? All they had to do was update it where necessary and let Somali teachers review and improve it. Simple! Why on earth are we relying on a Western curriculum when we have our own? Is our own history, knowledge and identity not good enough for us? This is a complete failure of leadership. A minister who cannot preserve and improve our own educational system has no business running the Ministry of Education. Stop neglecting our heritage and start investing in Somali education!

Kikuyus’ biggest problem is that the president isn’t one of their own. They enjoyed having Uhuru, Kibaki and Kenyatta in power Sai kila kitu Ruto anafanya, they rush to court kuzuia. Tribal bigots full of bitterness, hypocrisy and envy. PATHETIC!!

If you don’t want Ruto Go to Tanzania or Uganda.

[Karomo Richú @tonykaromo]

Reason 1000 not to vote for Ruto: he has emboldened Somali cartels now they are grabbing land all over Mt Kenya.

[Elham Ishmael ✍︎ @EIshmael_]

MashaAllah, #Mooyale has united the Somalis! From intellectuals and politicians to mothers and fathers, grandparents and young people it is truly refreshing to witness. We may have our differences and disagreements among ourselves, but when it comes to our land, that is a red line we will never cross. Our unity, land and dignity are above all our internal disputes! ❤️

“Ethiopia must outgrow the 3,000-year civilization myth,” says Dr. Tsegaye Ararssa, Ethiopian international law scholar. Exactly! Ethiopians must outgrow this mythology like children outgrow Santa Claus stories. The Bible’s “Ethiopia” does not automatically mean today’s Ethiopian state, and the Solomonic narrative was used to legitimize imperial rule. Like its neighbors, modern Ethiopia’s borders took shape during the Scramble for Africa. It is time to abandon false historical grandeur, confront history honestly, and live in peace with Eritrea, Somalia, Sudan, Kenya and Djibouti. Peace begins when mythology gives way to history.

🚨 FOUR FRONTS SIMULTANEOUSLY: SUICIDE, STUPIDITY, OR BOTH?

Whatever the answer, Ethiopia is moving deeper into the path of the Yugoslavia of Africa. The process of disintegration is accelerating, and it will reshape the entire Horn of Africa.

Oromia vs 🔥 Amhara. Gambela. Benishangul-Gumuz. Somali State.

Four fronts. Multiple nations. Escalating territorial confrontations.

It is grab whatever you can before doomsday arrives!

From here, two possible outcomes loom: a devastating regional bloodbath or a political settlement that leads to permanent separation. The space for compromise is shrinking, and the stakes are becoming enormous.

Note: Yugoslavia of Africa is no longer a distant possibility, it is becoming inevitable. Get ready for it.

[Heeybe H @P53Bytes]

Maybe it is Allah’s indirect plan for Somalis to realize that so many people harbor hostility toward us, prompting us to finally seek treatment for the disease of qabyaalad, a chronic clan-based mentality that has divided us for generations.

[sagal 🐆 @cleothemermaid0]

Somali’s are around 50–60 million worldwide, yet everyone from uncontacted tribes in southeastern Europe to inbred redneck MAGAs to Latinos begging Trump to deport us and now I’m seeing our admixture being discussed. Get off our dicks immediately.

They saying this when Somalis defended their land. Keeping arms is a matter of honor in Somali culture. Somalis will never disarm as long as the dangerous madness of Oromo expansionism continues.

[Habtish Gurmu (Commentary) @Habtishgreat]

Ethiopian Federal Forces, together with the Somali and Oromia regional governments, must disarm all individuals who do not have a valid permit to carry weapons.
The government must also ensure that every person authorized to carry a weapon is properly registered and documented.
In addition, security forces from both regions should conduct joint patrols to protect the safety and security of innocent civilians.
